Gilligan's 'The Professor' Has Died; Russell Johnson Was 89
Russell Johnson, the actor best known for taking part in the academician on "Gilligan's Island," has died.
ABC News confirmed with the actor's better half, Constance, that the 89-year-old principal died early this morning of kidney disease.
"He died reception, peaceful, in his sleep at 5:21 am these days," she said. "[He was] a really brave guy WHO knew what he wished, and he wished to be reception."
